FIRMSTRONG CA-520 Alloy 3 Speed

The CA-520 3 speed is a new age style cruiser, a cross between a traditional cruiser frame and a hybrid bicycle. Equipped with coaster brakes this ladies bicycle is great for beach side, city, or neighborhood riding. The Shimano Nexus 3 Speed is a simple and clean bicycle gear system. It shifts easily with the twist of the wrist and the three speeds are enough for casual riders looking to ride anywhere from 0 - 15 miles per ride.

The frame is 15” high with an extra 4” of length and is a suitable cruiser bike size for most women 5’4” – 6’4” tall. The frame design is very different from a typical bike, in which the pedals usually sit directly below the rider’s hips. On the CA-520, the pedals are moved forward 4” allowing the rider to have their feet in front as opposed to below. This is a nice feature for taller riders because it creates additional space for their legs making the bike less cramped. Also, it creates a more stretched and laid back feel that many Beachbikers prefer. The frame is made of aluminum which will make the bike approximately 7 lbs lighter than the normal steel frame. This feature also prevents rust. The frame design is a “new school” design with a high arching top tube that slopes down. This design makes it easy for riders to get on and off because they can easily step over the top tube to mount the bike.

This ladies cruiser bike has features a coaster brake which engages when the rider pedals backwards. The riding position of this bike keeps the rider's back in a straight upright position. In addition, the pedals are shifted forward to allow riders to be closer to the ground while still getting great leg extension. This is a great ladies bicycle for cruising, commuting or exercising.
